TMR30- Madurai Sungudi Saree Zari Kattam
The saree features a bright, sun-drenched Mango Orange body. It is woven with a fine Zari Check (Kattam) pattern throughout, giving the fabric a subtle texture and a rhythmic, geometric shimmer.
The border is adorned with large, intricately woven Elephant (Yaanai) motifs in antique gold zari. In Indian culture, the elephant symbolizes strength, royalty, and good fortune, making this a very auspicious choice.
Madurai Sungudi is traditionally made from high-quality cotton that is treated to be lightweight yet sturdy. It is famous for being summer-friendly—it stays cool, drapes crisply, and becomes softer with every wash.
