TMR33- Madurai Sungudi Saree Zari Kattam

The saree features a black body. It is woven with a fine Zari Check (Kattam) pattern throughout, giving the fabric a subtle texture and a rhythmic, geometric shimmer with a contrast bright orange border and blouse. The border is adorned with large, intricately woven motifs.

Madurai Sungudi is traditionally made from high-quality cotton that is treated to be lightweight yet sturdy. It is famous for being summer-friendly—it stays cool, drapes crisply, and becomes softer with every wash.
